Decision Day is home, playoff-bound and still carrying real consequences

The Union close the regular season at Subaru Park against Toronto FC at 4 p.m. Saturday. Philadelphia has already clinched a playoff berth, but the final table is not settled.

A win keeps the Union in sixth place. A draw guarantees a top-seven finish and avoids the Wild Card match. A loss can still push Philadelphia into that extra game if Cincinnati and Columbus both win.

Decision Day also carries a goodbye. Supporters will recognize longtime captain Alejandro Bedoya as he approaches retirement, giving the home finale weight beyond the standings. Coverage is available on Apple TV.
