The Union's unbeaten run reaches eight—and Sullivan keeps bending the timeline

The Union beat CF Montréal 2–0 at Subaru Park and extended their unbeaten run to eight matches, carrying a strong late-summer stretch into the next part of the schedule.

Cavan Sullivan added another piece of history during the run, but the larger point is competitive rather than ceremonial. Philadelphia is collecting results while continuing to give meaningful responsibility to young talent instead of treating development as a separate project.

An eight-match streak changes the standard for the next game. The Union are no longer trying to prove the run exists; they are trying to preserve the habits that built it when opponents begin planning specifically to stop them.
